China Minmetals commits support to Expomin China 2013

Mr. Zhou Zhong Shu, President of China Minmetals Corporation, one of the main mining and metal trading companies of China, committed his support to the development of the first version of EXPOMIN in China, which will be held between the 21st and 24th May, 2013, in Beijing.

In the meeting held at the Chilean Embassy in the People’s Republic of China, with the attendance of Mr. Ambassador Luis Schmidt Montes; Armando Valenzuela, Manager of EXPOMIN CHINA 2013, among other embassy and company executive authorities, ideas were exchanged about the role of Minmetals at the exposition, given its dual role as a mineral and metal processing company, and as an important provider of goods and inputs for mining, some of which are already being exported to Chilean mining operations.

With this, FISA continues its plan to promote and take on commitments to make EXPOMIN CHINA 2013 the main business and technological knowledge platform for mining and metallurgy in the Asian region, with China being its strategic center.
